PASSOVER AND UNLEAVENED BREAD CALENDAR

Passover & Feast of Unleavened Bread Fact Sheet

Accurate Biblical Practice | Based on the Sunrise-to-Sunrise Day

Many have requested a practical breakdown on how to keep Passover and ULB. Here ya go...

📖 Biblical Overview

  • Passover begins on the 14th of Abib at evening (Exodus 12:6; Leviticus 23:5).

  • Unleavened Bread begins at the same time, not on the 15th, and runs from the 14th at evening to the 21st at evening (Exodus 12:18).

  • This confirms the Biblical day begins at sunrise (Exodus 12:18, Leviticus 23:32) – not at sunset, as falsely assumed by the Pharisee Babylonian lunar calendar.

  • The Pharisee system adds a half-day, inflating the Feast into 7.5 or 8 days, which is unbiblical. This visual chart proves it.

✝️ Messiah as the Eternal Passover Lamb

  • Yahusha (Jesus) is our eternal Passover Lamb, once for all (1 Corinthians 5:7; Hebrews 10).

  • The Passover Lamb sacrifice has been fulfilled in Him—no longer required. Any clean meat may be eaten during the meal today.

  • The 14th of Abib (sunrise) is the First Day of Unleavened Bread when Yahusha was crucified—the same day Israel left Egypt, and when Isaac was to be sacrificed (Jubilees 17).

🌿 Bitter Herbs & Traditions

  • Exodus 12:8 calls for eating with bitter herbs, but it gives no specifics. There is no need to follow rabbinic tradition.

  • Use any local bitter herb. In the Philippines, for example, Ampalaya (bitter gourd) is ideal.

🍞 The Feast Is a Meal

  • Passover is a Feast — a communal meal of remembrance, reflection, and worship.

  • This is when Messiah instituted Communion, during the Passover meal with His disciples, sometimes called the “Last Supper.”

📜 Scripture for the Last Supper (Passover)

  • Matthew 26:17–29

  • Mark 14:12–26

  • Luke 22:7–20

Yahusha did not create a new tradition but established Passover observance as eternal, continuing through Communion.
